About the role
Job Overview The Sales Specialist is responsible for executing sales activities and achieving assigned targets within a defined territory. The role focuses on driving product adoption, managing customer relationships, and ensuring consistent execution of commercial strategies.
This position operates under guidance from the Line Manager and plays a key role in delivering day-to-day sales performance across standard accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution & Territory Management
- Achieve assigned sales targets within the defined territory
- Execute sales plans and promotional activities in line with business objectives
- Maintain regular customer engagement and ensure consistent coverage
- Customer Management
- Manage and grow relationships with accounts
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service
- Product Promotion & Clinical Support
- Promote Straumann products and solutions to dental professionals
- Support product usage and basic clinical understanding
- Assist in local events, workshops, and product demonstrations
- Pipeline & Opportunity Management
- Identify and follow up on sales opportunities within the territory
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Provide regular updates on pipeline and performance
- Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with T&E, Marketing and support teams to execute campaigns
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues
Profile & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1–5+ years of sales experience (medical/dental preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop commercial capabilities
- Execution-focused and results-driven
- Proactive and disciplined in territory management
- Team player with strong learning mindset
