About the role
- Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services.
- Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of three years of achievement-oriented sales experience in the dental field, or more experience in the medical device field.
- Strong communication and selling skills.
- Strong organization and planning capabilities (business planning, sales planning, forecasting, etc).
- Cold-call and prospecting capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving attitude.
- Able to work well with peers and across functions.
- Intermediate computer skills (Office package, iPad / tablet and any other company communication tools).
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to independently plan and organize the activities of the territory based on the manager's direction, market requirements and customer needs.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Experience in using a CRM system is strongly preferred.
- Able to lead by example.
Weekly Time Allocation guidelines:
- ½ day administration
- Five visits per day (individual and dual visits)
- 50% existing customers
- 50% prospective customers
- Follow CVM recommendations on the number of visits for each customer segments.
