About This Role
This role ensures that outgoing orders are processed smoothly and on time by coordinating inventory planning, shipment arrangements, warehouse and manufacturing readiness, and freight forwarder activities. The specialist acts as the key operational link between International Sales and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely order shipments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sales orders from order confirmation through to shipment
- Plan shipment schedules based on customer requirements, inventory availability, and production timelines
- Monitor inventory levels and upcoming export requirements to identify potential shortages or shipment risks
- Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange FCL, LCL, and co-load shipments
- Coordinate container bookings, loading schedules, cut-off dates, and shipping documentation
- Work closely with Warehouse, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure product availability and shipment readiness
- Ensure sales orders are accurately processed and released within the required timeline
- Coordinate shipping and export documentation with relevant internal teams and external parties
- Monitor order status from PO/SO creation through to loading and shipment
- Maintain strong working relationships with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 2
-4 years of experience in export operations, logistics, supply chain, or order fulfilment
- SAP experience, particularly in order processing, inventory visibility, and shipment-related transactions
- Experience coordinating freight forwarders and container shipments
- Basic understanding of inventory planning, demand planning, and supply chain processes
- Familiarity with FCL, LCL, co-loading, and export documentation
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Purchasing
- Detail-oriented while able to understand the bigger picture of the supply chain
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable solving operational issues
- Good Excel skills
