About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the sales of machinery, equipment, and related products across the manufacturing, construction, and resources industries.
- Analyze sales data and market insights to develop and execute sales strategies, set sales targets, and lead the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to drive sales growth and ensure profitability.
- Manage pricing and cost structures in alignment with the company's P&L objectives and overall business strategy.
- Prepare and present sales and marketing reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to support the achievement of the company's business goals.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Management, Key Account Management, or a similar sales leadership role, with a proven track record of driving sales performance and leading high-performing teams.
- Proven experience in managing clients, key accounts, and stakeholder relationships across multiple levels.
- Experience in B2B sales, particularly within the machinery, equipment, engineering, or industrial products sectors, will be a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and presenting insights to senior management and C-level executives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
- Willing and able to travel extensively across the country as required.
