Sales Manager - CASA-RL Sales

About This Role

This sales manager role focuses on increasing the deposit pool from customers, delivering high service standards, and driving sales of non-deposit products like mutual funds and insurance. The role involves managing branch team productivity and morale, and overseeing the branch's profitability.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the deposit pool from customers
• Establish standards and delivery of service
• Sell non-deposit products and progressively meet cross-selling targets
• Sell MF and insurance products
• Generate fee income
• Administer the branch
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage productivity and overall morale of branch team members
• Take overall responsibility for the break-even and P&L of the branch

Requirements

• Overall 6 years of banking experience, with 3-4 years in retail liabilities
• Sales experience and exposure, preferably with liabilities products
• Qualifications: MBA / CA / CAIB
• Good leadership skills (more tactical than strategic)
• Thinker: Doer ratio of 40:60
• In-depth understanding of financial instruments, markets, and macro/micro economic processes
• Ability to coordinate all units involved in the customer service cycle to ensure customer satisfaction
• Liaise with the product management team, marketing, and other centers and verticals for new product development, service enhancements, and sales initiatives
