Sales Manager (Automotive/Car Dealership)

This Sales Manager role involves leading and managing the overall operations of an automotive dealership, focusing on showroom performance, sales, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the dealership, including showroom performance, sales operations, customer satisfaction, and daily branch activities
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Recruit, coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to maximize productivity and business results
• Establish and implement dealership operational processes, SOPs, and best practices to ensure efficient and professional branch operations
• Monitor sales performance, profitability, inventory movement, and operational KPIs, taking proactive actions to improve business performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, financial institutions, insurance partners, and business stakeholders
• Ensure the dealership complies with company policies, manufacturer standards, and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with the Finance, Aftersales, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Prepare branch reports, sales forecasts, business plans, and management presentations
• Support management in expanding dealership operations and driving continuous business growth

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Automotive, Marketing, or any related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position within a dealership
• Proven experience managing a 4S dealership or automotive showroom
• Experience with German or Japanese automotive brands (e.g., Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi) is highly preferred
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing dealership performance
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

• Experience managing branch profitability (P&L), budgeting, and operational planning
