About the role
The Sales Internship is designed as a feeder program into Daikin's Accelerated Management Program (AMP), offering top-performing interns a pathway to a full-time employment through a leadership development experience focused on Outside Sales after graduation.
This position may be located in the following cities: Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Kansas City, KS; Tacoma, WA; Portland, OR; Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; Columbus, OH; Louisville, KY; Baltimore, MD Position Responsibilities During the internship, college students will:
- Work on an individual project with your direct team
- Interact with leadership in the company, including VPs
- Network across functions and teams
- Participate in social and team building activities
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Provide report outs to leadership on project milestones and challenges
- Utilize reliable transportation to consistently commute to and from their assigned work location
- Travel for business purposes approximately two weeks to support project and operational objectives

- Effective verbal and written communication skills including skills to build relationships with stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Highly motivated to achieve desired goals and objectives
Experience No previous experience is required
Education
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited in a four-year college or university
- Graduation dates: December 2027- May 2028
