ShipX Global Logistics Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Man of Freight Forwarding with at least 2 years of experience in sales and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes and practices and be skilled at prospecting new sales opportunities. This role focuses on generating leads, preparing quotations, and building relationships with potential clients to drive business growth without managing a team.
The Sales Man will directly contribute to the companys revenue targets by effectively promoting freight forwarding services, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored sales solutions. The position demands proactive engagement with potential clients, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage the sales cycle from lead generation to quotation preparation while adhering to company standards and industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new sales leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking in the freight forwarding industry.
- Understand client requirements and provide accurate and competitive quotations for freight forwarding services.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients to ensure consistent sales growth.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers to promote long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of freight forwarding services.
- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client communications in the company CRM system.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
- Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer needs, service improvements, and market conditions.
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and quotations that clearly communicate the benefits of ShipX Global Logistics' offerings.
