Sales Engineer

About This Role

This Sales Engineer role involves promoting and proposing Trane Contracting Solutions to potential customers, focusing on developing long-term relationships and identifying new opportunities. The position requires close collaboration with other departments to create appropriate solutions and ensure competitive tenders are submitted on time.

Responsibilities

• Promote and propose Trane Contracting Solutions to potential customers
• Develop and build long-term customer relationships
• Actively identify potential opportunities and develop solutions with existing and new customers
• Work closely with other departments to come out with the most appropriate solutions to customers
• Submit competitive tenders within the timeline
• Effectively write and present proposals
• Negotiate value, address resistance, and close sales, differentiating Trane as the preferred choice
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with specified quality and EHS standards
• Perform any other responsibilities as deemed appropriate and relevant

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or its equivalent
• At least 2-4 years in Engineering/Construction sales
• Experience in the HVAC industry will be an added advantage
• Customer-driven mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
