Sales Director

About This Role

This leadership role drives sales of digital technologies and IT services across the UK and European markets, with a strong focus on the BFSI sector. It suits a seasoned professional with a proven track record in new logo acquisition and growing strategic accounts, who is adept at end-to-end consultative sales cycles and building C-level relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own regional revenue, bookings, profitability, pipeline development, and sales forecasting
• Drive end-to-end consultative sales cycles
• Develop go-to-market strategies for BFSI, fintech, banking, insurance, and wealth management
• Build relationships with C-level stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, and COOs
• Lead cross-selling, upselling, large-deal negotiations, and strategic account growth
• Collaborate with solution architects, delivery teams, hyperscalers, and technology partners to develop winning proposals

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in IT services and digital transformation sales across the UK and European markets, with a strong focus on BFSI
• Proven track record in new logo acquisition, enterprise sales hunting, and growing multi-million-pound strategic accounts
• Experience selling cloud, application modernization, data & analytics, cybersecurity, enterprise platforms, and managed services
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI, automation, analytics, and BFSI regulatory, security, and compliance requirements
• Must be UK-based
• Fluent in English
• Willing to travel across Europe/EMEA
• Hold a relevant bachelor's degree
