Sales Director

About This Role

This sales director role involves selling advertising across print and digital platforms to meet key performance indicators, maintaining and expanding the customer base, and collaborating with management to develop and execute sales strategies. You will also work with editorial to create advertorial projects, liaise with sales support for reporting, and collect customer feedback to gather market research. Less qualified candidates may be considered for a Sales Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Sell advertisement across print and digital platforms to achieve core KPIs
• Maintain and expand the customer base
• Collaborate with management and team members to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue across all channels
• Work with editorial to create and execute advertorial projects
• Liaise with sales support for post campaign reporting
• Collect customer feedback
• Gather market research and industry intelligence
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and networking to drive revenue growth

Requirements

• Proven track record in digital media sales, including branded content, sponsored editorial, and social media campaigns
• Strong experience selling advertisement for print and digital media platforms
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated cross-platform campaigns
• Experience with digital analytics tools and performance metrics (Google Analytics, social media insights)
• Ability to liaise with multiple parties for content projects large and small
• An address book with client, KOL and celebrity contacts
• Proven ability to leverage digital tools, platforms, and performance analytics to optimize sales processes and make data-driven decisions
• Experience in creating and presenting digital media proposals and pricing strategies
• Understanding of social media marketing and influencer campaign management
• Strong presentation software use and proficient in word processing and presentation applications on Mac OS
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Public relations experience
• Relevant address book with contacts to facilitate KOL collaboration
• Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative, yet work well in a team environment
• Passionate about their own ability to perform and thrive in the new digital media landscape
• Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and ROI measurement
• Ability to interpret campaign data and optimize performance
• Experience in developing custom digital solutions for clients
