Working as a Sales Associate at Cosmoprof involves creating a memorable shopping experience for customers as part of the world's largest hair and beauty supplier. This role suits passionate beauty lovers who can advise customers on hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, utilizing knowledge and training provided by the company.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and inspire loyalty
- Recommend additional and complimentary products
- Inform customers of current promotions and events
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events
- Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues
- Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Available to meet the scheduling needs of the business
- Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service
- Can read and explain product labels
- Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation
- May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion
- Position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes
- Position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals
