We are excited to announce our expansion into Bloomington, Indiana in October 2026, and are seeking to fill all retail store positions as soon as possible. Position Overview
The Sales Associate establishes rapport with customers while driving sales in a furniture retail environment. They provide expert product recommendations and identify opportunities for additional sales and upgrades while developing an understanding of customers’ style preferences and lifestyle needs. The Sales Associate guides customers through the entire purchasing journey, from product selection to financing and delivery options.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage customers in a professional, friendly, and consultative manner to understand their furniture and home décor needs.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide outstanding service throughout the sales process.
- Educate customers on product features, quality, warranties, financing programs, and delivery services.
- Guide customers through the showroom and online product offerings to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals, performance metrics, and commission targets.
- Follow up with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of current products, promotions, and sales programs.
- Accurately complete sales transactions and customer documentation.
- Support showroom presentation by maintaining merchandise displays and overall store appearance.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Demonstrate and uphold company values and professionalism at all times.
- Successfully complete all required training and development programs.

- Guaranteed hourly wage plus commission, with estimated annual earnings between $55,000-$70,000

Requirements:
- Sales experience is preferred, must be willing to train
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Enjoys interacting with others and sharing knowledge
- Ambitious and self-motivated; thrives in a fast paced, high-energy environment
- Familiarity with computer-based inventory and sales systems
