About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a 340B Program Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial health and strategic growth of the 340B Program, ensuring compliance, maximizing cost savings, and expanding the program’s reach within our healthcare network. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Human Resources, Pharmacy, and Business Development, to optimize program utilization and develop strategic partnerships with local pharmacies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare operations, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for program enhancement and financial efficiency.
Qualifications The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or in the process of completing one, is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of applicable experience, preferably within a 340B program or healthcare environment. Strong communication, sales, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in computer applications and data analysis tools. Knowledge of 340B regulations and experience in healthcare contracting will be considered a significant advantage.
Responsibilities Responsible for the overall financial health and growth of the 340B Program. Assess business opportunities and develop strategic plans for contracting and expanding the program’s reach. Develop comprehensive reports and disseminate information regarding program utilization, compliance, and financial performance. Collaborate with the Human Resources department and Plan Administrator to increase the capture of prescriptions under the University Family Care Plan. Coordinate with the 340B Program Manager to establish contracts with local pharmacies, ensuring compliance and maximizing benefits. Analyze purchasing accumulations to optimize drug costs at 340B pricing and implement strategies to enhance cost savings. Monitor program performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director for Business and Technology or the Chief Pharmacy Officer, including process improvement initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
