About the role
Role Overview: The Safety Professional oversees Construction Project Safety, Health (S&H), and Risk Management, developing and implementing site-specific safety plans and collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with contractors and clients, participate in meetings to advise on mitigation and training, develop accident prevention programs, manage safety budgets, and lead incident investigations. Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and other safety regulations, and maintain compliance through safety permits and reports.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience, with a high school diploma; additional education preferred. Expertise in safety management systems, OSHA standards, and hazard analysis. Certifications such as OSHA 500/502 and pursuit of CSP, ASP, or CHST are desirable. Prior experience in electrical, construction, or industrial safety is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and safety compliance tools is required.
