About the role
Job Summary: Piper Companies is seeking an S&P Associate to support a clinical research and drug safety organization. This position is hybrid with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote in Bethesda, MD .
Responsibilities for the S&P Associate include:
- Manage and validate safety data, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the SAE process.
- Collaborate with Safety Specialists, Physicians, Medical Monitors, and cross-functional teams to support safety operations.
- Prepare data summaries, reports, and supporting materials for meetings and presentations.
- Distribute safety reports, adverse event notifications, and other safety communications to stakeholders.
- Maintain safety documentation, regulatory records, and safety box archives in compliance with project requirements.
- Track safety report submissions, document receipt, and follow-up activities to support compliance timelines.
- Perform MedDRA coding and process Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) when applicable.
Required Qualifications for the S&P Associate include:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; SharePoint experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of clinical trials, drug development, vaccine development, or pharmacovigilance is preferred.
- Ability to manage documentation, compliance tracking, and safety communications in a regulated environment.
Compensation for the S&P Associate includes:
- Salary Range: $54,000 - $60,000 annually
