About the role
Job Description
- Manage and improve the company’s overall WSH policies, systems and practices.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and requirements.
- Conduct and review Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and safety plans.
- Provide WSH support and advice for events, productions and operational activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Monitor higher-risk activities such as work at height, lifting/rigging and temporary structures.
- Manage workplace incidents, near misses and investigations.
- Coordinate WSH training, safety briefings and awareness programmes.
- Review and monitor contractor and subcontractor safety performance.
- Work closely with Operations and Production teams to identify and control safety risks.
- Identify unsafe practices and take appropriate action to improve safety standards.
- Prepare WSH reports and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in WSH, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant Singapore WSH certification/ experience.
- Practical experience in WSH or safety management.
- Experience in events, entertainment, construction, staging, production, rigging or similar higher-risk environments is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and risk management.
- Able to work independently and closely with Operations and Production teams.
