About This Role
This role is for a Room Attendant who will play a vital part in the Housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms are impeccably clean and paying attention to every detail. The position involves collaborating harmoniously within the team and assisting guests as needed, contributing to a wonderful stay and cherished memories of great hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean all sections of guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces, to ensure an exceptional first impression
- Work diligently within established guidelines to achieve impeccable standards
- Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organized and well-equipped
- Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
- Respect guest privacy and security, upholding a commitment to their comfort
- Report maintenance issues promptly, showing dedication to a flawless experience
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus
- Warm and welcoming communication style that makes guests and team members feel at home
- Eye for detail and ability to work efficiently, managing time well and taking pride in tasks
- Enjoy a physical role, navigating between rooms which may involve using internal and external staircases and open pathways
- Embrace collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds
- Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
