Room Attendant

About This Role

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of rooms to meet various requirements. It suits an individual with strong cleaning skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for clients.

Responsibilities

• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean and sanitize toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Make beds and change linens
• Vacuum carpets
• Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry (if Laundry Personnel)
• Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Keep bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Clean mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste
• Tidy up rooms
• Report any necessary repairs or replacements

Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience in cleaning and sanitizing rooms to varying levels to meet requirements
• Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment
• Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate customer needs
• Ability to take criticism
