Room Attendant

About This Role

Room attendants are the heart of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all guest rooms, corridors, and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. The role is ideal for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean, restock, and maintain guest rooms according to established hotel quality standards
• Change bed linens, make beds, sanitize bathrooms, and replenish room amenities and towels
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and ensure all room fixtures are operating correctly
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the Supervisor immediately
• Maintain guest privacy and deliver polite, professional customer service at all times
• Organize, stock, and maintain housekeeping carts and supply closets at the end of each shift
• Handle lost-and-found items following hotel protocol

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Senior High School Graduate
• Previous work experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeper, or Cleaner in a hotel, resort, or similar setting is preferred
• Fresh graduates or candidates with TESDA Housekeeping NC II certification are welcome to apply
• Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and time management skills
• Capable of handling repetitive manual tasks (bending, lifting, standing for long periods)
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
