Room Attendant

About This Role

This casual room attendant position involves ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. The role is suitable for a reliable and enthusiastic individual who can work efficiently and independently within a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas
• Make beds and replace linen and towels
• Vacuum, mop, and clean surfaces
• Replenish guest amenities and room supplies
• Clean hotel public areas when required
• Report maintenance issues, damage, and lost property
• Follow hotel hygiene, health and safety, and guest privacy procedures
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of attention to detail

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Take pride in maintaining high cleaning standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Can work efficiently in a busy hotel environment
• Positive attitude and work well as part of a team
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and guests
• Available for some weekend and public holiday shifts
• Previous hotel or commercial cleaning experience
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
