Room Attendant

About This Role

Room attendants ensure every guest room feels like a home away from home by creating spotless, welcoming spaces. This role combines efficiency with care, delivering exceptional service that reflects the company's commitment to comfort and quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels' standards
• Replace linens and amenities
• Report any maintenance issues promptly
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets, ensuring supplies are stocked and used properly
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and any irregularities to supervisors
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services to guests
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards
• Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that enhance satisfaction
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergency situations
• Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred
• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred
• Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred
• Basic English skills preferred
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend
• Ability to push, lift, and pull items weighing up to 25lbs repetitively during entire shift
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required
