About This Role
This roofer position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems with precision and safety. The role suits a craftsman who thrives in outdoor environments and can ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional shingles
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute roofing projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety harnesses effectively while adhering to all construction safety regulations
- Perform roofing repair tasks such as sealing leaks, replacing damaged shingles or panels, and applying caulking for weatherproofing
- Assist with siding installation, stucco application, drywall finishing, masonry work, and other related exterior or interior restoration projects
- Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently while following proper heavy lifting techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all construction site safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as siding installation or remodeling
- Knowledge of roofing systems including metal roofing and single-ply membrane options
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses in outdoor work environments
- Familiarity with construction safety standards including OSHA regulations for workplace safety
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights comfortably
- Valid experience in interpreting technical plans and schematics for precise project execution
