About This Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that roofing projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing plans
- Install various roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Perform roofing repairs and maintenance to extend the lifespan of existing structures
- Use welding skills when necessary for metal roofing components or flashing repairs
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, tiles, metal sheets, and other roofing components safely
- Assist with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or other construction tasks as needed to support roofing projects
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean job site
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings for installation guidance
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and installation methods
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Basic understanding of plumbing, masonry, carpentry, or related trades is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Driving licence preferred
