[Robotics Lab] Mobile Robot Localization and Navigation Control

Who we are We are responsible for the research and development of control algorithms and system software for medical, service, and industrial articulated robots using internalized robotics technology.

Responsibilities In this role, you will develop LiDAR/RGB-D-based SLAM & Navigation technologies to enable cooperative multi-robot operations, and develop real-time path planning algorithms.

■ LiDAR-Based SLAM Development

• Developing localization algorithms using LiDAR and various other sensors
• Developing automated map generation and maintenance algorithms for robot autonomous navigation

■ Path Planning & Navigation Development

• Developing real-time path planning and motion control algorithms for mobile robots
• Developing real-time swarm navigation algorithms for multi-robot systems, including path planning and collision avoidance

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in robot SLAM, path planning, and autonomous navigation control
• Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication)
• Experience developing SLAM & Navigation technology with actual mobile robots
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in software deployment for mass-produced products
• Contributions to SLAM & Navigation-related open-source projects, and strong proficiency in Python or C++
