About This Role
This field technician role involves traveling to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair commercial robots, working with remote specialist support. It suits a practical, reliable individual with experience in equipment maintenance and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Install robots and check that they work correctly
- Find and fix mechanical, electrical, and software problems
- Carry out scheduled maintenance
- Explain the problem and the repair to the customer
- Record each visit with photos, job notes, and customer sign-off
- Keep tools and spare parts ready
- Follow site and equipment safety procedures
Requirements
- Practical experience fixing or maintaining equipment
- Reliability, clear communication, and accurate job records
- Willingness to ask for help and report mistakes
- Availability to drive to customer sites
- Ability to work in different weather conditions
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
