Roaming IT Support Engineer

About This Role

This field-based role involves traveling to multiple client sites across the island to provide IT support. The position suits a candidate who is comfortable working in healthcare environments and is able to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite troubleshooting at client locations for platform-related issues
• Respond promptly to incidents, investigate root causes, and provide temporary or permanent resolutions
• Provide timely status updates to relevant stakeholders
• Execute service requests related to client platforms at client sites
• Monitor service levels, maintain system configurations, and provide regular reports
• Participate in client platform implementation and upgrade projects onsite
• Manage client platform projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope
• Conduct research and evaluation of client platform tools and technologies
• Provide systems-related technical advice to customers and project teams
• Oversee client platform management systems and manage system changes through the change request process
• Support presales activities for client platform solutions
• Gather business or application requirements to perform infrastructure analysis and design
• Ensure service levels meet agreed standards and propose action plans when required
• Establish facility management standards and best practices to ensure operational consistency across project and facility teams

Requirements

• Good command of English to effectively liaise with different stakeholders
• Minimum qualification: NITEC/Higher NITEC or equivalent
• Comfortable working in healthcare environments
• Willing to take MMR & TDAP vaccines (claimable)
• Open to travel islandwide
