About the role
Role Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards and values.
Qualifications: Must have a nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN), hold a current RN license, and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC, and others may be required based on the department or unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain professional accountability and ensure high-quality care.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality standards.
- Perform physical duties including lifting, standing, walking, and maneuvering as required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical movements such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
