RN Wound Care Nurse/Restorative Nurse Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive wound care services to residents, including wound assessment, treatment, and education
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Conduct restorative therapy sessions to promote residents' independence and mobility
- Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes
RN Wound Care Nurse/Restorative Nurse Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
- Strong knowledge of wound care principles and practices
- Wound care certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capacity to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively
