About the role
Role Overview Provides professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team by applying nursing knowledge and the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
- Develop and modify individualized care plans collaboratively with patients and the healthcare team.
- Implement appropriate interventions to achieve desired outcomes and document progress.
- Utilize evidence-based practices, promote patient safety, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care, prioritize tasks, and delegate appropriately.
- Educate patients and families using tailored teaching strategies considering cultural and developmental factors.
- Participate in quality improvement, data collection, and performance initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care standards.
- Communicate effectively within the team, advocate for patients, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
- Strong clinical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing situations, and prioritize effectively.
