Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practices. Their responsibilities include coordinating care, maintaining effective communication with patients and team members, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment. They serve as preceptors and mentors, participate in research and quality improvement activities, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates Degree in Nursing or higher (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Current RN license (state-specific or multi-state compact)
- Minimum of 1 year professional nursing experience, with critical care or triage experience preferred
- Certifications: BLS and CPR required upon hire
- Strong clinical, assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team, handle emergencies calmly, and process large volumes of information accurately
