About the role
This nursing role involves providing complex patient care in a progressive stepdown/telemetry unit. Key Responsibilities Include
- Gathering comprehensive patient data from multiple sources to assess needs.
- Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses or conditions.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to set outcomes.
- Developing and implementing care plans using clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
- Promoting patient safety, coordinating care, and evaluating progress toward goals.
- Maintaining current knowledge, communicating effectively, and ensuring quality care.
- Applying age-specific and clinical needs in critical care nursing.
- Performing other assigned duties in a safe manner.
Qualifications And Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- At least one year of RN experience.
- Valid RN license and current BLS, with additional certifications like ALS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, TNCC, or equivalents required.
- Physical capability for frequent standing, walking, lifting, and communicating.
