Role: Provides direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities: Develops and implements personalized care plans, assesses patient needs, advocates for patients and families, educates on health measures, and collaborates with healthcare teams. Demonstrates leadership by coordinating care and fostering a positive work environment. Ensures safety and may perform point-of-care testing.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid RN licensure in the applicable state. No prior experience required. Must hold current BLS certification.
Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, teamwork, and adaptability. Physical ability to perform lifting, standing, walking, and other physical demands.
Key Duties: Evaluate patient conditions, plan and deliver holistic care considering physical, social, cultural, and spiritual factors, and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license and BLS certification specific to the state of practice. Certifications must meet state-specific requirements.
