RN - Neuro IMCU - Full-Time Night

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care provides high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team in a clinical environment supported by evidence-based practice and organizational models.

Responsibilities

• Performing the nursing process through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation with individualized, patient-centered care.
• Partnering with patients and families using effective communication and respecting cultural diversity.
• Coordinating safe care delivery, ensuring timely documentation, and supporting a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Participating in team collaboration, performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance.
• Serving as a preceptor or mentor to promote professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Advocating for evidence-based practice, contributing to protocol development, and complying with policies and standards.
• Planning resource utilization and supporting quality outcomes across the care continuum.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (or equivalent), required upon hire.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Proficient in technology with basic computer skills.
