About the role
Position Overview: This full-time, night shift role involves working in a high-energy Obstetrics and Mother Baby unit, specializing in Well Newborn Care and Post Women’s Surgical services. The unit features multiple specialized rooms including Mother Baby, LDR, High Risk Antepartum, OBED, Birthing Suites, and OR suites, with dedicated Lactation Consultants providing inpatient and outpatient support.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care within a fast-paced environment, supporting mother and baby health, managing high-risk cases, and circulating cases in the OR. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Current RN license in the state or with compact licensure
- Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods
- Certifications: NRP, BLS (or within 30 days of hire), and other department-specific certifications
