About the role
Role: Registered Nurse in the W.E.S.T. Float Team, providing flexible, high-quality patient care across multiple units within a healthcare system.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, compassionate nursing care using assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Manage complex clinical situations with sharp judgment and critical thinking.
- Administer medications and perform safety checks diligently.
- Educate and empower patients and families about procedures, treatments, and recovery plans.
- Ensure safety and quality by verifying patient identities, adhering to protocols, and documenting accurately.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Active RN license (Single State or Compact) required.
- BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years recent Mother/Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrates collaboration, patience, and effective time management, especially under pressure.
