RN ICU - Part Time

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality acute-care nursing in a hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to safety and infection-control standards.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license.
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months).
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
