About the role
Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote a skilled and professional nursing workforce.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in protocol development, resource management, and continuous professional development.
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and efficient clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Active RN license (single or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced setting and respond to emergencies decisively.
- Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation.
