Job Description:
- Night Shift
- Assesses and analyzes the health status of patients comprehensively upon admission and on an ongoing basis.
- Formulates and updates individualized patient care plans based on assessment data in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Directs, implements, and coordinates patient care activities to ensure the delivery of quality care.
- Communicates and documents all patient care, including assessments, plans, interventions, patient responses, and follow-up.
- Transcribes and directs the implementation of physician orders accurately and promptly.
- Provides patient education based on assessed needs and evaluates understanding.
- Conducts ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes and documents the effectiveness of interventions and strategies.
- Adheres to nursing department standards, completes competency testing, and maintains current licensures and certifications.
- Participates in performance improvement activities and collaborate on needed policy and procedure changes.
- Demonstrates knowledge and awareness of the specific physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic computer skills [Required]
- Excellent human relations and oral/written skills [Required]
Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 1+ of recent and relevant experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) [Required]
