RN Educator – Oncology Clinic – Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Educator – Oncology Clinic to provide education, training, and clinical support for nursing staff and patients in an oncology setting. The ideal candidate will enhance clinical competencies, ensure best practices, and support high-quality cancer care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver education programs for oncology nursing staff.
- Train nurses on chemotherapy administration, oncology protocols, and patient care standards.
- Educate patients and families about cancer treatments, side effects, and care plans.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support staff onboarding, competency assessments, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN preferred).
- Experience in oncology nursing and clinical education.
- Strong knowledge of chemotherapy, cancer care, and patient education.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
