About the role
Role: Emergency Nurse in the W.E.S.T. Float Team, providing expert, compassionate care across multiple facilities in fast-paced ED settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, intervene, and evaluate emergency patients.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
- Respond promptly to critical situations and codes.
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of recent ED RN experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC or ATCN preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
