Job Description
Job Title: RN Circulator (Operating Room)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN Circulator to join our Operating Room team. The RN Circulator will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during surgical procedures. This position requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare the operating room for surgeries, including setting up equipment and supplies
- Assist with positioning and draping patients for procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall condition during surgeries
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure proper documentation of all procedures and patient care activities
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to patient safety and quality of care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of (insert state)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
