About the role
Role:
Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, working part-time night shifts.
Responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Building relationships with patients and families, promoting culturally competent and patient-centered care. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting care accurately, supporting performance improvement, and participating in evidence-based practice and research activities. Assisting in protocol development and optimizing resource use. Upholding organizational policies, standards, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Proficiency with technology and clinical documentation
