Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team, delivering individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting. They practice according to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, emphasizing patient advocacy, system policies, and service excellence.
- Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice; provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to cultural and population specifics; partner with patients and families to set goals and deliver education; coordinate and document safe, quality care; promote teamwork, inclusivity, and performance improvement activities; serve as a preceptor or mentor; support evidence-based practice and research; participate in protocol development and resource management; ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Qualifications: Requires an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, valid RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and at least 2 years of direct patient care experience. Must have strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills, with proficiency in technology and a customer-focused approach.
