Job Description Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. As a Registered Nurse for our Wound Care Center, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient
  • Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes

Required: At least two years of work experience as a registered nurse and one year clinical experience in wound care.

Preferred: Membership in professional nursing organization

Required: Completion of a 40-hour Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) approved course in Hyperbaric Medicine within 6 months of hireObtain NBDHMT Certified Hyperbaric RN certification (CHRN) within 36 months of hyperbaric trainingPreferred: Obtain WOCNCB certification as a wound care nurse (CWCN) within 24 months of hire

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
