RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (PAYMENT & MARKET RISK)
Work Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Job Description:
- Conduct risk assessments of clients, issuers, and proprietary investment proposals (including equities, bonds, and other securities); recommend appropriate lending and investment conditions.
- Research and propose risk limits, as well as risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and control methodologies across the Company's business activities.
- Monitor and report on market developments, including stock market indices, interest rates, exchange rates, and margin lending portfolios, to identify and assess potential risks.
- Prepare periodic reports on risk monitoring, compliance, and post-monitoring activities.
- Participate in testing for risk management reports, system enhancements, and related projects.
- Review and provide recommendations on internal policies, regulations, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor the implementation of approved policies and coordinate the resolution of compliance and risk-related issues.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in
Finance, Securities, Banking, Auditing, or a related field.
- Experience in corporate valuation, project appraisal, financial analysis, financial modeling, securities valuation, cash flow analysis, risk measurement, or risk management.
- TOEIC ≥ 500 or IELTS ≥ 5.5
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and logical thinking, with a high level of integrity, discipline, and commitment to work.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in one of the following areas:
- Banking:
Credit Appraisal (preferably Project Appraisal), Credit Risk Management or Market Risk Management.
- Securities Firms:
Research & Analysis, Risk Management, or Proprietary Trading.
- Audit Firms.
- Professional certifications such as
CFA, FRM (Level I or above), or a Securities Practicing Certificate
issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC) are preferred.
