Position Summary The Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Project Manager will support the client in the implementation of projects funded through Rhode Island's Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). Working collaboratively with leadership, community members, and the client, the Project Manager will coordinate day-to-day implementation activities, facilitate communication among partners, monitor project progress, and help ensure successful execution of approved work plan activities.

The Project Manager will serve as a liaison between the client and RHTP program partners while recognizing and respecting Tribal sovereignty, governance, culture, and community priorities. The position is intended to provide implementation support and technical coordination to help advance Tribal health priorities through the RHTP.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate implementation of RHTP-funded activities in collaboration with�leadership and project partners.
  • Develop and maintain project work plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation trackers.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks, barriers, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate meetings and facilitate communication among�leadership, community partners, the client, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with documenting project activities, deliverables, and performance measures.
  • Support preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials related to RHTP implementation.
  • Coordinate technical assistance and connect�staff with appropriate RHTP resources as needed.
  • Support community engagement activities and help ensure Tribal perspectives inform project implementation.
  • Assist with procurement, contracting, or administrative coordination, as appropriate and in accordance with client and State laws.
  • Perform other project management duties necessary to support successful implementation of the client's RHTP initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing or coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Tribal governments, Indigenous communities, or culturally diverse populations is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of public health, healthcare, behavioral health, community development, or human services programs is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple organizations.
  • Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
