Retail Sales Associate - Part Time

About This Role

As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their home improvement needs. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers and helping them find the right products and services.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing supplies in empty areas on shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely receipt of merchandise.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to enhance customer service.
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs, such as mixing paint or cutting materials.
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Ability to minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

Nice to have:

• 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, plumbing, electrical).
