Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide expert advice on products related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design
- Assist customers in identifying plants, tools, and outdoor supplies while demonstrating excellent product knowledge and communication skills
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and customer payments
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising, stocking, and organizing products to enhance the shopping experience
- Support inventory management by conducting stock checks, replenishing shelves, and managing retail math for accurate stock levels
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone communication or in person to answer questions and resolve concerns promptly
- Support outdoor work activities such as plant care demonstrations or landscape maintenance advice when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or outdoor work environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for gardening and horticulture is essential
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Knowledge of plant identification, floral design, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, retail math, and merchandising best practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness
- Passion for customer service with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers

Pay: $15.69 - $18.00 per hour
