About This Role
This role involves ensuring that the company's retail stores are well-prepared for customers, promotions, and new product launches. The Merchandiser will work to make sure products are correctly placed, displays are accurate, and pricing and promotional materials are clearly visible. This position suits someone with an eye for detail and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities
- Arrange shelves, displays, and product presentations, and verify that products are placed correctly according to planograms
- Replenish products, check stock, and identify missing, damaged, or misplaced items
- Prepare the store for promotions, campaigns, and new products by placing, replacing, or removing displays, signs, and promotional materials
- Verify that prices, digital price tags, and promotions are correct and clearly visible to customers
- Check that products and demo devices are complete, tidy, and fully functional
- Document work and points of attention with photos and short reports on a tablet, and assist with larger projects such as renovations or new displays
Requirements
- Enjoy practical work and engaging with products, stock, and store presentation
- Work meticulously and quickly identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate effectively with various colleagues in the store
- Not afraid to get hands-on
- Affinity with retail and technology
- Experience in merchandising, retail, stock management, product presentation, or a similar retail environment is a plus
- Available 20 to 40 hours per week
